Overview

Our flagship European tour and the one people come back for. A week based in the Bernese Oberland, with day trips out to Lucerne, Interlaken, Grindelwald and the Rhine Falls.

The mountain railways are the centrepiece — a cogwheel climb to a high viewpoint and a lake steamer on Lake Lucerne are both easy to add on the day. Tickets for those are bought locally by your group; the coach gets you to the station and waits.

The coach route out crosses France and into Switzerland over two travel days, with an overnight stop each way so nobody spends fourteen hours on board.
